Bio
Joel was born and raised in Yavapai County and is proud to be a fourth generation Prescottonian.
Before law school, Joel studied Finance at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. After graduating, Joel worked briefly as a writer for an East Valley publication while also interning for a U.S. Congressman. Joel then decided to pursue a career in law and enrolled at the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. In law school, Joel served on the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy (AJELP), where his Comment regarding the impact of lead bullets on the California Condor population in Arizona won first place in 2015.
Early in his legal education, Joel was mentored by the late Jim Musgrove who encouraged him to return to his roots and practice law in Prescott. After passing the Arizona bar early, Joel worked at Musgrove’s local firm for eight years where he ultimately became a partner of the firm. Today, he is excited to bring his legal experience to Prescott Law Group
Joel primarily practices in the areas of real estate law, business law, family law, construction law, and probate law. Joel prides himself in taking a client-focused, results-oriented approach to the practice of law. Outside of the office, Joel tries to soak up every spare minute with his wife and their three sons.
